8 MONTHS OLD!

On Friday, October 26th, Kailey turned 8 months old.
She is getting so big and learning many new tricks. She loves to eat food and we are slowly expanding her horizons. She now has four teeth, can roll, and sit up in her crib all by herself. Kailey is weighing in at 19 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches long.

Enjoy the pictures.

Kailey enjoying her food.

Morning time in bed with mom, dad and the dogs.

I love my Sophie. She feels good on my gums.

We took dad to his favorite restaraunt for dinner on the Saturday before his birthday, Changs!

The Scharpenbergs came over to watch some football. Finley let me try on her tutu.

I am starting to get onto my hands and knees. Watch out, I will be crawling in no time.

Another good teether is mom's straw for her cup!

Daddy had his birthday on the 18th. We had friends over for pizza, football and ICE CREAM CAKE. Finley helped with the candles.

Just practicing my waves.

On Friday, October 26th my daycare had a fall festival. All the kids got to wear their costumes and sing songs.

Here I am as a Fairy.

Daddy came to join in the fun.

My friend Jaks and I enjoyed watching the big kids dance and sing.

The rain cloud was going around the room!

One of our day care ladies was dressed as a Jack-in-the-Box.

I loved her bell.

Mom and Dad can't believe how big I am getting so they wanted to compare some pictures.

Here I am in my tub at 4 weeks old!
Here I am 8 months old. Look how big I have gotten.

Below are my 8 month pictures. I just woke up from a nap so my cheeks are a little pink

Inna (day care) gave me this pumpkin to bring home from our Fall Festival.

I've got teeth!!

Look at my chompers! Daddy can't stop speaking to me in a Matar voice. He thinks I look like him with my teefers.

Mom brought in a new toy from the garage. I love it.

Pumpkin Patch

It has only taken a few weeks, but on the weekend of October 6th, the Christie Clan came to Portland from Boise and the Scharpenbergs and Mavers came down from Krkland to meet up for the annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch (2nd year). It was a beutiful, sunny day with a little wind and we made the best of it.

Kailey was excited to see her Aunt Julie! They hadn't seen her since early July.

Who are you looking at?

Kiddos having fun with the picture boards.

Hey, I see Aunt Liz.

Drew took some time to surf on the benches.

Gramma snagged Kailey as quick as possible.

Daddy and Mommy taking their picture.

Uncle Scott and Aunt Julie.
Daddy took a picture with his mom, my Grandma.

To get out to the pumpkins you either take a boat or train. We all hopped on the train.
All the cousins with Gramma and Grammpa.

Kailey taking her second train ride.

Kailey checking out the pumpkins.

Still deciding if she should touch them.

Mommy and Kailey.

It was a little windy, look at our hair fly.
Family time.

Kailey sitting on all the pumpkins.

She knew I was behind her.

Cousin Finley took a ride on a pony.

Whenever we get together there has to be a picture.
Not just one...

...but two. We can't all look good in the same picture.

Brooke getting up close for a picture.

We also have to have a Gramma and Grammpa shot wtih all the grandkids.

Ooops, no one told Kailey not to pull Connor's hair.

Take two...
Take three...and there were others.

The Christie's got a good family photo.

Overall we had a wonderful first trip to the pumpkin patch!
