Catching Up!

We have been very busy with the end of the school approaching. We have had some fun outings.

Our first outing was to Country Village. A small, outdoor shopping area a few minutes north.

Kailey really enjoyed the outdoor playgroung.

 

 

 But was quickly distracted by the ponies.

 We were able to get her distracted with the swings.

 And bouncing pony.

 Back to the ponies!

 One of the other best features were the ducks! Hundreds of ducks.

 Kailey was sad when we wouldn't let her in the duck pond.

 Near the coffee shop was a little fountain. Our girl is a water girl!

Our second big outing was to the Woodland Park Zoo with the Scharpenbergs. Kailey got a zoo pass for her 1st birthday from them!

 Kailey was okay with it for a few minutes...

 ...and then wasn't so sure.

 

 

The hippos were active today. It was neat to watch.

One trait Kailey has gotten from her daddy is her joy of being outside. We have had some lovely days in Kirkland over the past few weeks. Kailey enjoys being outside and playing in water. With her love of water we created her "ghetto" water table and it quickly turned into a water bath!
